Founder & Principal
Brad Bowers
Brad Bowers has spent more than 30 years at the intersection of emerging technology, digital media and business development, figuring out how new capabilities become real businesses and getting the deals done.
Before founding BlackInc in 2003, Brad spent eight years at CNET during the formative years of the commercial Internet, ultimately serving as Vice President of Business Development. He was part of cross-functional teams that helped develop and commercialize some of CNET's early performance-based and ecommerce business models across Download.com, Search.com, Shopper.com and Computers.com. His role often sat between concept and execution: helping shape the commercial model, working with product and engineering, and structuring strategic partnerships that generated millions of dollars in revenue.
Since founding BlackInc, Brad has applied that same approach across hundreds of publisher, technology and business-development engagements. He helps companies identify where the market is going, understand the value exchange created by new technology, and turn those opportunities into practical strategies, partnerships and revenue.
Today, that work increasingly includes helping companies navigate the next major shift in digital business: AI, agents and the rapidly changing relationship between technology, publishers, platforms and consumers.
